It all started in 1986, in the cradle of precious stones in Brazil, the city of Teófilo Otoni, in Minas Gerais, where the young couple Marcelo Soares and Vitória Melo inaugurated the company that became a reference in the precious gems segment. From the beginning, Marcelo Gemas Indústria e Comércio was concerned with polishing the business with great quality and seriousness. In stone cutting, the care and detail of a 100% handmade process has always preserved all the charm of nature.

The company grew and with it the appreciation of the Brazilian nature of its stones. He conquered the market with the use of innovative cutting techniques, combined with the high level of his work. Technology and competence transformed into precious, took the company to a prominent place, all over the world. It didn't take long for Marcelo Gemas to take a brilliant step, taking the original DNA and the perfect cutting of the beautiful Brazilian stones, for rings, pendants and earrings. A new name, the same tradition and the company ArtOuro & Gemas, inaugurated in the jewelry business. Once again, all stages of the cutting process were handled with the wisdom of someone who knows the importance of respecting the treasures that nature offers. In honor of her, nothing is wasted.
