For one week, 60 visitors and 3.700 exhibitors from the precious jewelery sector attended the 33rd edition of the September Hong Kong Jewelery & Gem Fair, the world's largest and most important event in the sector. The fair takes place in China and is considered by the specialized press as one of the only points of resistance in a world economy affected by the crisis, a fact that emphasizes the strength of the jewelry and gems market.

The fair featured products from over 30 countries. Items of all types, styles, tastes, materials and pockets were on display — from everyday jewelry to unique, authorial design and high-quality pieces. Want to know more? Keep following!

Brightness and color are Brazil's strengths at the fair

In line with what has been happening in recent editions of the Hong Kong Fair and other events in the field, the colors and freshness of Brazilian gemstones have been conquering consumers more and more. The prices of jewelry produced and designed in our country are also very competitive, factors that won over buyers present at the Hong Kong Fair. So many colors, models and Brazilian creativity could not result in anything other than success, right?

The night that celebrated Brazilian production

Among the novelties of the September Hong Kong Jewelery & Gem Fair and the participation of Brazil in the fair, is the ICA Brazilian Night Reception, a memorable night that brought together 350 participants among exhibitors, buyers and the press around the novelties of the country. The event was filled with Brazilian music, dance and food, allowing guests to immerse themselves in our culture and way of being. Thus, it was possible to make even clearer the originality, freshness and prominence that Brazilian products have compared to those of other countries.

In addition to ArtOuro & Gemas, several Brazilian companies were present at the big night.

The initiative conceived by the partnership between IBGM, Apex Brasil and ICA (International Colored Gemstone Association) aims to promote the Brazilian market and greater participation and influence in the search and defense of the rights of Brazilian producers before the world market of gemstones and jewelry. As consequences: market diversification, even stronger introduction of the Brazilian presence in the field and increased knowledge about our potential in the production of jewelry.

And you, what do you think of this fair that enchants everyone? Have you participated in any editions? This was a memorable moment for us at ArtOuro and for the entire Brazilian production and that is why we chose to share it with you.
