According to the Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals (IBGM), there are more than 250 gems that can be found in the country, which ranks first among the geographical regions producing precious stones. Brazilian natural stones
Natural stones are extracted from nature through different mining processes, and Brazilian soil is rich in special stones, with a unique color and shape, which are widely used in the production of jewelry and semijoias. Emerald
Emerald is one of the most valuable stones in the world, found in various shades of green (dark, light and yellowish, translucent or transparent) in the form of prismatic and hexagonal crystals. In Brazil, it can be found in Serra da Carnaíba (Bahia) and Campos Verdes (Goiás).
A emerald symbolizes 55 years of marriage (Emerald Wedding), and is also associated with several professions: law, athletics, medicine and biology. Citrine

Citrine was used in the Middle Ages as a lucky stone, and linked to the elements fire and sun, it can strengthen the organism, increase disposition and help control emotions. Opal
One of the stones found in Brazil and little known in the local market, opal has an impressive shine, even outshining diamonds.
