The September Hong Kong Jewelery & Gem Fair, one of the 3 largest fairs in the world in the jewelry and gems segment, celebrated its 34th edition. The event, lasting 7 days (September 13th to 17th), took place at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), organized by UBM Asia Ltda.
about the fair

Owner of a rich mineral soil, Brazil is one of the world's main producers of gemstones, notable for both variety and quality. And its presence at the event could not be different: at the Brazilian Pavillion, the main Brazilian suppliers of precious stones were present, showing a significant increase in the country's participation in the event, accompanying the growth of the fair.
And it was in this network and business scenario that the ICA Brazilian Night Reception took place, a parallel event conducted by the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA), to promote the appreciation of colored stones by a select group of jewelry and gemstone buyers, aiming to expand the business and the Brazilian presence in this important event.
ArtOuro & Gemas marking presence
ArtOuro & Gemas, present in the gems and jewelry market since 1986 and having been present at the event for 20 years, was highlighted once again. And its presence could not go unnoticed: we were featured in a newspaper published at the fair. The edition addressed the coloring of gems, such as blue tourmaline (its main emphasis), aquamarine, rubellite and morganite (with its salmon-pink and peach tones).
According to the company, all of its major gems are certified by the Gemological Institute of America and its main goal is to attract designers, jewelers and investors with its vibrant collection.
With an economy still fragile, as a result of the long economic crisis the country is going through, the jewelry market is being forced to adapt. And to resist this moment, increasing investment in technology and creativity is essential, using new tools to develop exclusive and differentiated pieces.
ArtOuro appreciates the presence of customers and visitors at the event, which would not be possible without you. We hope that the meeting has contributed to the strengthening of our partnership.
And you, would you go to a fair like this? Remember that it's a great opportunity to learn a little more about the market and, who knows, come back with some items in your luggage.
