About Hong Kong fair
In addition to being a space for buying and selling, the event, which is organized by UBM Asia, is also characterized as a trendsetter. This is because it presents several novelties between raw materials, techniques and designs. The initiative is divided into pavilions that are dedicated to specific products.
Another characteristic is that the event is shown as a network of contacts and exchange of experiences, where producers, buyers and collectors get together and share opinions and world trends, in addition to, of course, good deals.
Trends for the season
Brazilian gems have always stood out for their colorful and striking tones and the Honk Kong Fair is no different. The trend shows that tourmalines are an example of a stone that appeals to the most varied tastes and is on the rise this season. In addition to them, the diamond, which is a true classic, has also been highlighted. Both silver and yellow gold jewelry continue to be the market's favorites, as well as a mixture of metals, precious stones and other materials, such as, for example, leather.
As with clothing, jewelry no longer follows a pattern. Everything that has a bolder and more innovative design has space. The big, colorful pieces — like a blue topaz and yellow gold ring or a mix pendant in yellow gold — are trends that remain when it comes to jewelry with precious stones. And best of all, they do not exclude the most delicate and discreet pieces — such as, for example, a delicate ring in aquamarine and white gold: there is space for all tastes and styles.
Brazilian participation – ArtOuro & Gema is featured!
Brazil is responsible for 1/3 of the volume of gem production in the entire planet. Therefore, it is no coincidence that brazilian manufacturers are present at the biggest events in the sector, such as the Hong Kong Jewelery & Gem Fair. In addition, it is one of the few countries to produce emerald and Paraíba Tourmaline, in addition to offering other stones on a large scale, such as amethyst, topaz and quartz crystal.
20 years ago, ArtOuro participated in the Hong Kong Fair. This year, we were in the spotlight: the visit was recorded in an article in a printed newspaper published at the Fair. The edition showed how the Brazilian company took the “colors of Brazil” to Hong Kong, through beautiful gems, such as Paraíba Tourmaline, Rubelite, Green Tourmaline, Citrine, Amethyst, among others. The article also spoke about the quality of the jewelry sold by ArtOuro, commenting that they are present in moments of enchantment and pleasure.

It is worth remembering that, for the sector to continue growing, in addition to extremely high quality raw materials, Brazilian companies have also invested in technology. This means improving the workforce, in addition to new equipment. Therefore, the scenario is totally favorable and only tends to grow.

Good morning,
I would like to know if this fair is only about jewelry or if it also has semi-jewels.
If you don't own semi-jewelry, would you be able to point me to fairs in Hong Kong that have them?
Hello Breno, this fair is only focused on jewelry and precious stones. See more information on the organizers' website:

As we don't work in the semi-jewelry business, we don't know fairs to indicate you.
